RidgeView is a family owned and operated vineyard, handcrafting trophy winning wines from estate grown fruit. Your hosts, Darren and Tracey Scott, with a passion for food and wine pairing, have created RidgeView Restaurant for your complete Hunter Valley experience.

RidgeView Restaurant Executive Chef Donna Hollis and her team use fresh local produce to create our seasonal menu whilst our organic vegetable garden is tendered daily to supplement the fresh produce for our Mediterranean and Middle East inspired menu – designed to entice the senses and enhance the flavour of our wines. Our menu draws inspiration from these cultures where family and friends would come together and feast on ‘shared dishes’ whilst slowly grazing. Whether you choose the Cypriot Meze Feast or a selection of Mezedhes to share, we are sure your RidgeView experience, overlooking our picturesque vineyards, will be one to remember.

Christmas & New Year Trading Hours

RidgeView Restaurant OPEN Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (normal trading hours)

Our Restaurant staff will be enjoying a much needed break from Saturday 5th January 2019 – Friday 11th January 2019 inclusive. The Restaurant will REOPEN on Saturday 12th January at 9am.

The Cellar Door will remain OPEN Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10am – 5pm through the Christmas and New Year period. We will be CLOSED Wednesday 26th December 2018 (Boxing Day).

Local & Fresh

The breakfast menu utilizes eggs from the estate’s free range chickens and the organic veggie patch provides herbs, citrus and vegetables for the kitchen. Fresh condiments, oils and house made cheeses are also served freshly made. All food is sourced locally if not estate grown.

We showcase our range of wines with wine and food matching at seasonal “In Season” dinners (see our “dinners” section for the next upcoming event).
The restaurant is fully licensed and all RidgeView wine is available at very affordable ‘cellar door’ prices. BYO wine attracts a $10/bottle corkage. No BYO for groups of 10 or more
