Our aim is to produce premium 100 percent Hunter Valley wines that are approachable whilst young, yet develop character with careful cellaring. We believe that the wines we make are reflective of the preparation made to the soils and the viticultural practices carried out in the vineyard, with attention given to Integrated Pest Management (IPM). This means no unnecessary spraying against pests and diseases and a natural ecosystem is maintained within the vineyard. This is reflected in the quality of the fruit and the resultant wines To preserve berry integrity and minimise premature oxidation, all grapes are hand picked as whole bunches. Minimal preservatives are then used in the finished wines due to the use of screwcap closures. At RidgeView we feel that the quality of our wines are reflective of the excellence we strive for.
